Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef, and an former Institute of Culinary Education instructor, is a TV personality. She's the host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network star with her trademark spikey blonde hair and exuberant personality, shares easy methods to master and removes anxiety about restaurant food in her show Secrets of a Restaurant. Chef Burrell worked at New York at top restaurants as well as studied Italian cuisine practices and the environment. Additionally, she competed as Iron Chef America on Food Network. Burrell is a native of the Upstate and grew up living in New York State's Upstate, began to develop a passion for cooking. The Culinary Institute of America sparked her interest in managing restaurants when she received the English and Communications degree from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was a fantastic learning experience. I was never able to study or accomplish enough. After graduation, chef Burrell went on to spend one year in Italy studying at Italy's Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and working in La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 a one Michelin-starred restaurant located in Tuscany. Burrell gained a greater knowledge of Italian culinary and cultural traditions during her stay in Italy and this has affected her cooking style. Burrell was a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that aims to make a difference in the lives of kids facing challenges. Additionally, she is an Juvenile Research Foundation celebrity ambassador which promotes the awareness of juvenile diabetes. as a speaker, guest and mentor Burrell travels throughout the US to talk about her passion for cooking as well as her professional career. Anne has, through her whole experience in the kitchen, has declared that it's a pleasure to be in a position to share her passion for life with others.
