Danielle Riley
Keough is an American actress. She was born in Santa Monica to Danny Keough and
Lisa Marie Presley. She is the granddaughter of Elvis Presley, actress, and
singer. Keough was raised by her father in Hawaii and Los Angeles, and
additionally was a resident of her mother in California and Tennessee. She
began modeling at age fifteen. The appearances she made at Dolce &
Gabbana fashion shows and Christian Dior's cover shoots are just among her many
highlights. In her 20s, Keough was cast in the role of a support in The
Runaways (2010) as Marie Currie. After The Good Doctor (2011) the film, she was
a part of Jack & Diane (2012). Then she was cast in Magic Mike (2012),
a minor part in Steven Soderbergh’s comedy film Magic Mike (2012). After her
appearance in Yellow and Kiss of the Damned in 2012, Keough was cast in the
action film with a big budget Mad Max: Fury Road (2015). In 2016, Keough had
her breakthrough role as a law student-turned-escort in the first season of the
anthology series The Girlfriend Experience, executive-produced by Soderbergh
and based on his 2009 film of the same name. The role was praised by the
critics, and she was nominated for an Golden Globe Award for Best Performance
by an actress in a restricted series or motion picture made for television.
Keough's subsequent performance as a young, strident woman in American Honey
(2017) won her more acclaim. The actress was also nominated for an Independent
Spirit Award nomination. The following year, Keough played the lead in the
apocalyptic-themed horror film It Comes at Night (2017), and reunited with
Soderbergh to be a part of his heist film, Logan Lucky. In the year 2018, she
starred in a variety of thriller and horror movies, including Lars von Trier's
The House That Jack Built, the Neo-Noir Under the Silver Lake and Hold the
Dark. Keough was the lead character in The Lodge, a psychological horror film.
Zola is Keough's comedy-drama sequel. Keough is the character Sandy Harrison,
Netflix's 2020 release The Devil All the Time.
