Deborah Rhea
Seehorn was born May 12, 1972. She is best known for playing attorney Kim
Wexler in AMC's Better Call Saul (2015-present), for which she is a two-time
winner of the Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress - Series, Miniseries
or Television Film. She's also been in the NBC series Whitney (2011)-2013 and
ABC's I'm with Her(2003)-2004 as well as TNT's Franklin & Bash
(2011)-2014. Deborah Rhea Seehorn was born in Norfolk, Virginia, on May 12 on
the 12th of May, 1972. Her mother was executive secretary in the United States
Navy, her father was an agent for the Naval Investigative Service. The family
was based in Washington, D.C., Arizona, Japan, and often moved around during
her early years. Following the footsteps of her father and grandmother She was
interested in drawing, painting, and architecture from a young age. Though she
pursued all of the arts in her life, she discovered a passion for acting. While
in college she was introduced to modern theatre. She earned her degree from
George Mason University in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in Studio Art. While
at university, Seehorn was looking to enter the theater industry, thanks to
being encouraged by her acting instructor. She tried to gain attention through
various ancillary roles in D.C. theater. She was able to secure some important
parts in local theatre productions. However, she needed to find odd jobs to pay
the bills. In order to pay for the expenses she was also able to take on roles
in short instructional films. Soon she began to be involved in more TV
productions. She was often compared to Bea Arthur, who she described as
"very humorous," "sarcastic, and well-educated" women. But,
the majority of her roles were short-run series cancelled after one or two
seasons. Seehorn was played by Kim Wexler for the Breaking Bad prequel series
Better Call Saul in May 2014. Seehorn is Kim Wexler, who is a lawyer and the
love of Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk).
